Tour To Be Able To Get Everything Into One Day

My wife and I did the full day tour that went to both the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta. We wanted to make sure to get both things in the same day. The tour was efficient about getting everything in, without making us feel like we were rushed. It is A LOT of driving, so just make sure you are ok with this in one day. The tunnels are cool and definitely worth seeing. Make sure that you walk through them as well! If you have not shot a gun before, make sure you do it here as well. It is a little expensive to do it, and they are making a killing there in money. But, it is fun and safe if you have never shot a gun before. They are locked into place, and you can't mess it up!

The Mekong Delta is also worth seeing, and you can either spend an hour doing it, or 3 hours. It completely depends on how interested you are in each of the 4 stops that you make on the island on the delta. There are stops that include honey, coconut candy, local fruits, etc.

For lunch, you stop at a very touristy rest stop. I don't think that there is much else around, so the tour company probably doesn't have a choice in where else to go. The food was ok, nothing special. One recommendation I have for the company, is to maybe allow the guests to choose items off the a la carte menu rather than doing the prefixed.

Overall, the tour showed us what we wanted to see and it was a good tour. The owner of the company, by the way, came to the hotel after the tour to meet us and ask about the experience. He was VERY nice, and very interested in how he can improve the tours. 

I would recommend trying to have him as the tour guide if possible in the future.
