Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Day Tour

We were very impressed with Roadstour. We only have 2 days, and really wanted to do a day trip with both the tunnels and the Mekong Delta. They were very accommodating. I was staying with a friend who recently moved to Ho Chi Minh City, and the tour van picked us up from her home. He arranged our itinerary according to where she lived (District 7). 

We beat the crowds to the Mekong Delta and had a fantastic boat ride, tour of some of the islands with coconut candy making and eating, picked our very own coconuts right off the tree and drank the delicious coconut water. 

We toured a traditional home and tried local fruit with local honey tea. We hopped into a local boat usually paddle by women up the delta. 

Once back on the main land, we stopped for lunch and had local Vietnamese outdoor restaurant! Very well kempt and very yummy. 

We headed up to the northern part of Ho Chi Minh City and outside the city towards the boarder with Cambodia to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. 

What a great tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and professional. It was a long day, but we are extremely glad we did both, since our time was limited. 

He arranged everything for us and was extremely accommodating with my three children, ages 17, 12, and 9. We had the van all to ourselves. 

I highly recommend his company and will use him in the future when we go back to Ho Chi Minh City.
